Parang Endog Beach is located on the east coast of Parangtritis. Distinct from Pantai Panorama Parang Endog besides another stretch of sand and the blue, the beach is a dune hill that stretches behind the beach sand. But the hills that are part of the Thousand Mountains plateau is in some parts into the Indonesian Ocean. Right above the beach there is a machete ndog area named "Cliff Watu Gupit" or the now more commonly known by the name Cliff Parang Ndog
Another thing that is interesting from Parang Endog Beach is the presence of rice produced in very close distance to the beach. This phenomenon shows how citizens Parang Endog Beach so persistent endeavor of his life. Sandy beach which incidentally is a stretch of barren land can be transformed into paddy rice fields and red onion. This rice field scenery seems to be so in contrast to the aridity of black sand on either side of field plots. This sandy desert turned out to be transformed into rice fields that promise. This happens because the hard work of local residents, supported by the availability of freshwater resources flowing clear from the crevices of the hills on the north side.
Parang Endog Beach is etymologically composed of two words, namely a machete and endhog. Parang in the Java language is often interpreted as a rock in the vicinity or in the ocean. While endhog in the Java language is synonymous with eggs in the Indonesian language. This region is called Parang Endog because in the past in this region found a round rock with an average size of an egg. These rocks came from the hills located on the north side beach. Unfortunately that kind of rock now relatively difficult to find because many people were taken.
